SCOR SBS operates within SCOR Specialty Insurance and writes insurance and reinsurance for large corporate risks. The P&C Operations department is the department in charge of:
- Providing all the means to support the underwriting activites for SCOR SBS.
- Ensuring that all the underwriting activities complies with the SCOR Group guidelines.
- Improve the underwriting journey and anticipate future needs.
Responsibilities
Within the CTO team, you will be in charge of assisting the CTO Team on the production of reports, studies, and tools. You will help the team to make sure SBS has the tools and systems necessary to operate efficiently while being data driven and compliant with local requirements. This position will work to provide tools and technical data analytics support to the business including targeted areas for development:
* Participate in a project to ensure the internal systems have the right internal controls;
* Assisting in the design of a new tool for the underwriters (underwriting platform);
* Produce progress KPI on projects handled by the CTO team;
* Participate in the preparation of presentations for underwriters and management;
* Assist Underwriters on some local needs for SBS North America;
* Produce ad'hoc reports requested by SI Management (CEO/Head of Operations/CUO/Head of
Regions/GLH).
For all the tools used by SCOR SBS:
* Assist in the main projects of the CTO team;
* Follow-up on the CTO team activity;
* Support, train and assist users, develop process documentation;
* Extract data from the various information systems, collect and consolidate, model and produce
data reports.
Qualifications
* You are currently in a master's degree in a School of Engineering or a Business School.
* You have at least a 6 months' experience in a consulting firm and/or ideally a similar experience in
the (re)insurance and/or finance sector with an international scope.
* You have good Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* You have experience with data visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI and basic knowledge of
SQL.
* Your experience has enabled you to acquire a good ease of use in data and in interactions with
Management.
* You have good abilities to analyze, synthesize and present to others.
* You are dynamic, curious, autonomous and proactive. You pay attention to details, are creative,
and appreciate designing new systems and following them up until they are implemented.
* You have excellent communication skills and real interpersonal skills. You have a sense of service
and a strong team spirit.
